India Pictures are Up on Facebook

One thing I really detest is uploading photos to Blogger. It takes forever - and, though, I'm sure there's an easier way to go about it, it's so cumbersome. My plan is to eventually do a slideshow put to music and post it on Youtube and this blog. It will take a week or two before I get that together.

In the meantime, if you want to view the photos in my album on Facebook - but aren't friends with me on FB - please email me at recoveringnoah@yahoo.com with your name as it appears on FB and I'll add you.

I'll try to add more videos and do more blog entries this week.

Wow, I stayed up till 3 last night to read through all the different blog posts about Sarah's. The videos were wonderful and very instrumental in giving me a real feel for what you guys saw. The kids looked GREAT! I was shocked at how great some of them were. I had only seen still pics...the vidoes are priceless!!! Must have more video...I see that it could be a terrific tool in connecting children with sponsors.
Awesome job Sarah, Teresa, and all those precious Ayahs (sp?) are doing!
I totally enjoyed Fayes DETAILED ACCOUNT OF HOW TO GET AROUND. Between that, the stories, and the videos, I almost feel like I got to go after all!- To God be the glory. Great things He has done...and will continue to do.

Acceptance and Moving Forward

It's been so long since I posted here. I wasn't even sure that I would remember my password. And, actually, I really haven't planned anything to write out, but I just had this overwhelming urge to post today. Maybe so that I can look back on this post next year and see how far we've come, I'm not sure. But here we are... and here I am.... 2016 was a challenge. Not just for our family, but for everyone it seems. I look around and 2016 just seems to be a year of hurt. It was a tough year on so many levels.  A little over a year ago, on December 23, 2015, we were told that my husband most likely had a certain lung condition that gave him only three years to live. We are so fortunate that it was NOT what they thought, but it led us straight into 2016 full of fear and despair.... feelings which continue all the way through today.... and may lead into 2017. Noah said, "I love you, Mom"!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I can't believe it!!! I walked by him sitting at the table and kissed him on the head and said, "Have I told you this morning how much I love you?" And he said, "Iduvumum" Of course, I was stunned. And I said, "Noah, did you just say, "I love you mom? Yes or No?" And he said, "Esssss" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Of course I cried. And called Sim. And called my mom. And Noah was so pleased with himself that he took me by the hand and led me straight to the TV so that he could watch an Elmo video. I guess he thought, "Hey, I told you I love you, so now I get a freebie." This officially goes down in history as the best day of my life. (Doing carthwheels and happy dances and thanking Jesus).
