Noah on Christmas Morning (Video)

If you haven't read today's earlier post, Noah asked for a globe for Christmas... on Christmas Eve, nonetheless. Santa nearly had a panic attack but managed to pull through in the end.

Oh, and Sarah, if you're reading this, Santa left two extra swings (like the one in the video) for us to take to India. I would like to thank Santa's elves (blog readers) for making it possible to buy two swings to take to India (by purchasing raffle tickets. In fact, I'll be doing a blog post next week on what your donations were able to buy).

P.S. I have no idea why my voice is so high in the video. It's the voice I reserve for puppies and babies.... which might explain why so very few babies like me and the little Yorkie puppy I was playing with earlier today bit me on the nose.

But, more importantly, check out the mile wide smile on Noah's face when he gets in the swing. It's worth enduring my voice for....

Hannah, why at the North Pole, of course!

But, just between us, I have also heard you can buy them from http://www.ezhangchairs.com/hammock_chair.html. We were able to get them for $99.00 at a local monthly market where EZ Hang sets up. Also, you might be able to buy them cheaper elsewhere on the internet, but I don't want to think about that b/c it appears I could've gotten them a bit cheaper and that makes me want to cry.

Also, thanks Corey and Faye for the compliment. He's got an awesome smile, hasn't he?

So fun to see, Leslie....But my favorite line of all was the "No, no...don't go through his stocking....Let him do it!" That is SO my life!

Wonderful video! He does have a beautiful smile and the swing looks great.
Christian likes globes too. Although he did try to eat the equator off of ours. LOL
Glad your family had a good Christmas!

I can't think of any other word to describe that smile. And the babbling. YAY.

Sweet smile.

On your earlier post, I think you are absolutely right that Noah wants to be treated as other children. A friend of mine had her autistic son go from nonverbal at therapy one week, to walking in the door, and running up to me asking where my daughter was because he hoped she brought her cars to play today because....on and on and on. There are children stuck behind the wall of autism, they just can't tell us as much as others, but I think they are in there and just waiting for the doors that are locked to crack a little bit open so we can help them bust through. Babbling will turn in to talking, I'm confident, but I'll say extra prayers for Noah until I hear him chatting away on video.

Ya know...I was looking at a streaming of photos of Noah since before you adopted to present and he has beautiful lips!
I have to remind my girls that your kids are not babies...they all know how to walk, they don't need carried.- Cherie
ps praying that you have a stress-free day...or that you can bare it with a smile! :)
