Noah Met Anoop!!!! Video Blog

Okay, so I guess you can tell from the title of this blog post that Noah met Anoop. (!!!!!) And I've been dying to tell you all but have been without a computer for the last week. Aarrrgh! Anyway, there is SO much to tell - and quite honestly - I don't think I could do it justice by typing it all out... so I did my first ever video blog.

Just to warn you.... I can talk! My "short" video ended up being 16 minutes long. Yikes. But it really does tell you everything that happened and how Noah did and what the concert was like and how it went when Noah met Anoop. BUT... I also did another version that ended up being 1:36 because I was completely mortifed when I turned off the camera from the first video and saw that it was 16 minutes long!

So... version 1 is the longer, but detailed version, and version 2 is the short and sweet - but-you'll-totally-miss-what-happened version.

Point is.... NOAH MET ANOOP!

P.S. Youtube said my video was too long - lol! So I had to edit it into two-parts. Lucky for you all! ;-)

Loved, loved, loved hearing about Noah meeting Anoop! What a neat story. I'm so glad you and him were able to have this experience together!

And I agree with Noah...I'm so not an Adam fan...Chris on the other hand, I could listen to him all day!

Acceptance and Moving Forward

It's been so long since I posted here. I wasn't even sure that I would remember my password. And, actually, I really haven't planned anything to write out, but I just had this overwhelming urge to post today. Maybe so that I can look back on this post next year and see how far we've come, I'm not sure. But here we are... and here I am.... 2016 was a challenge. Not just for our family, but for everyone it seems. I look around and 2016 just seems to be a year of hurt. It was a tough year on so many levels.  A little over a year ago, on December 23, 2015, we were told that my husband most likely had a certain lung condition that gave him only three years to live. We are so fortunate that it was NOT what they thought, but it led us straight into 2016 full of fear and despair.... feelings which continue all the way through today.... and may lead into 2017. Noah said, "I love you, Mom"!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I can't believe it!!! I walked by him sitting at the table and kissed him on the head and said, "Have I told you this morning how much I love you?" And he said, "Iduvumum" Of course, I was stunned. And I said, "Noah, did you just say, "I love you mom? Yes or No?" And he said, "Esssss" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Of course I cried. And called Sim. And called my mom. And Noah was so pleased with himself that he took me by the hand and led me straight to the TV so that he could watch an Elmo video. I guess he thought, "Hey, I told you I love you, so now I get a freebie." This officially goes down in history as the best day of my life. (Doing carthwheels and happy dances and thanking Jesus).
