Back the Blocks

One of my favorite families in the whole world is moving to Guatemala to become full-time missionaries.

Lorraine, over at All Our Precious In His Sight, did a wonderful post today on the Block Family and is fronting a campaign called "Backing the Blocks".

Amy and her family need 147 sponsors at $25 a month in order to move to Guatemala in September and serve at Eagle's Nest Orphanage.

As many of you know, Guatemala closed its doors to U.S. adoptions and most of the children will never know the love of a family. Amy, her husband Todd, and 7 of their 9 children, will serve these children daily in a Manna Feeding Program, as well as a Sports Ministry.

I've known Amy for, oh my gosh, I guess about 8 years now and I can honestly say that she and her family are the real deal. They are the most amazing family that you'll ever meet and we are so proud to be able to help support them while they serve those in need in Guatemala.

If you can, please check out Lorraine's blog today and see if God is leading you to help the Block family as they become missionaries in Guatemala.

Thanks!

P.S. Any monthly support is appreciated. We are only able to give $10 a month. At first I felt so embarrassed about only being able to give a small amount and we almost didn't give. But it ALL adds up in the end. If you're feeling led to "Back the Blocks" ANY amount helps.

I love you! :) Thanks for spreading the word. And sorry again about you having to see us sobbing after saying goodbye to our doggie. Miss you- we HAVE to do a real visit SOON!
